When you rent a film, we collect your email address (to deliver the access code) and the payment information you provide to Stripe (we never store full card numbers — Stripe handles this). We also collect basic usage analytics through Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics provider that does not use cookies or collect personal data.

2. How We Use It

We use your email to send purchase confirmation, the access code, and (optionally) a 24-hour expiry reminder. We may also email you about service-affecting issues like outages or refunds. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.

3. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. Limited operational sharing happens with:

• Stripe — to process your payment.
• Mailgun — to deliver your transactional emails.
• Our video delivery network (CDN) — to stream the film to you (anonymous playback only).

4. Cookies

We use a minimal set of essential cookies to remember your active rental session within your browser. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.

5. Your Rights

You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Where applicable, this honors rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California).

6. Retention

Purchase records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law. Access codes are deleted after expiry plus a short grace window.
